Foreign national drowns in Tangalle

A French national has drowned in Tangalle.
Police say the victim had been swimming in the seas off the Tangalle coast at the time of drowning.
The victim who was rescued by persons who witnessed the event was pronounced dead upon admission to hospital
The deceased French national is reportedly a fifty-three-year-old male.
