University cut-off marks to be released

The University Grants Commission says that the cut-off marks of various curriculum for students who are new entrants will be released this week.
Professor Kshanka Hirimburegama declared that new students for the medical and engineering faculties will be enrolled during the month of October, adding that other curriculum are scheduled to begin after that.
Meanwhile, the Leadership Training Programme for the new entrants will commence on October 8.
The University Grants Commission says that the Leadership Training Programme which is to be carried out under three stages will provide training for nearly 10, 000 students.
