A brothel operating in the guise of a massage parlour was raided in Dehiwala last evening by the Organised Crimes Investigation Unit, police said.
Three alleged female sex workers and the manager of the brothel were arrested during the raid and handed over to the Kohuwala police for further investigation, police said.
The suspects are to be produced in the Gangodavila Magistrate's court today.

The National Child Protection Authority has arrested the driver of a three-wheeler and a woman who reportedly used an underage girl for prostitution. The authority said the sixteen-year-old girl had had an affair with the twenty-three-year-old driver.
The male suspect is reported to have taken lewd pictures of the girl, which he had subsequently used to frighten her into engaging in prostitution. The arrested woman, who also faces charges for using the sixteen-year-old for prostitution, is a thirty-five-year-old resident of Mount Lavinia.
The suspects were arrested based on a complaint made to the Child Protection Authority by the father of the child.

The Walana Anti Vice Squad arrested eight suspects including six women at a brothel in Maradana yesterday, police said.
Police said the arrested women were in aged between 23 and 35.
Two other persons were arrested for managing and supporting the brothel. The suspects were produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate today.

Three female sex workers were arrested with three other managers for operating a mobile brothel using a three-wheeler by the Panadura-Walana Anti Vice Squad in Mt. Lavinia last night, police said.
Police said the suspects are to be produced before the Mt. Lavinia Magistrate today. Further investigations are being carried out by the Mt. Lavinia Police.
