A census from Bodu Bala Sena –about nearly nine lakhs of young women have done operations to prevent conception.

General Secretary of Bodu Bala Sena Ven.Galaboaththe Gnanasara Thero, said that around 890,000 young women have done the LRT operations to prevent conception. .
The Thero said that in the discussion with the Minister of Health, Maithripala Sirisena, yesterday.It can be proved that this business has been doing with the purpose of reducing the growth rate of Sinhala population.
It had been revealed that some young women in villages are threatened and tempted to perform this operation. This organization has accepted that one day the Sinhala population will vanish and then the Buddhism also will be vanished.
The Thero had requested the Minister that to pay the special attention and suspend the illegal operations carried out by unscrupulous elements..
