Sri Lanka won the World T20 Cup for the 1st time defeating India by 6 wickets.
Sri Lanka was set a goal of 131 run target by India.
The match held in Mirpur, Bangladesh saw history being made as Mahela Jayawardene became the first player to make 1000 runs in T20 World cups.
