SLT releases 2014 edition of Rainbow Pages telephone directory

Provincial directories are also available at Regional Telecom offices and SLT Teleshops in the respective provinces for collection by SLT residential subscribers. The religious institutions too could collect the directory from the above-mentioned collecting centres.
Distribution of the Directory to government and business organisations has commenced and quantities required by each organisation will be delivered. Apart from local distribution, SLT Rainbow Pages directories are available in all Sri Lanka missions overseas too.
SLT Rainbow Pages is Sri Lanka’s only business directory that has an islandwide distribution with one dedicated directory for the Western Province and four separate directories for the other provinces.
Every year the national telephone directory promotes a theme of national importance. Accordingly, cover page and a few inside pages are dedicated to accommodate descriptive articles and images. This year’s directory has been dedicated to promote the vibrant gem and jewellery industry and next year’s directory theme will be Interior Design which is a potential industry.
The national telephone directory consists of the Government Pages where all government organisations are listed, the Organisations Pages where all leading business organisations are listed in alphabetical order, the Religious Pages where almost all religious institutions are listed, the Rainbow Pages Classified Section where over 20,000 product and service suppliers could be found, and the Doctor Directory where all leading medical consultants are listed with the hospitals their service is available.
