India’s NIA to gather more information on Sri Lankan accused of spying

Details are surfacing about a Sri Lankan national who was allegedly recruited by Pakistani spy agencies for reconnaissance and espionage work in India. The case was registered under the Official Secrets Act and the Criminal Conspiracy and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
The national intelligence agency of India apprehended Arun Selvarajan, accusing him of giving the Pakistani Intelligence services drawings and maps of the Madras harbour, port, Kochi naval establishment and Kalpakkam nuclear plant along with details of the officers training academy and national security guard hub in Chennai.
The Times of India reports that the NIA is preparing to visit Sri Lanka for further investigations.
