Kurunegala Abduction: Extensive investigations underway

Police Headquarters says that extensive investigations have been launched in search of the chief suspect in connection with the abduction of Pamara Keshini Bandara of Nikadalupotha in Wallawa.
Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana said the thirty-two-year-old chief suspect has already fled the area.He further said the law will be strictly enforced on persons connected to such incidents.
The Police Media Spokesperson went on to say that the prize money of one million rupees that was promised to be given to anyone who assisted the search of the little girl with information will be awarded to the relevant party.
Four-year-old Pamara Keshini Bandara who was abducted at about 2.30 a.m. last Tuesday while sleeping at her house, was found on Friday afternoon.
The girl was found hidden in the Neriyaawa area in Kumbukgate in Kurunegala. A woman was arrested on suspicion in connection with the incident.
Legal experts point out that criminals connected to such incidents should be severely punished.
