Water supply is to be fully restored to affected areas by 6 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the National Water Supply and Drainage Board.
Water supply had been disrupted to Nugegoda and Kottawa for over sixty six hours as at 12 noon Tuesday.

A 9-hour water cut would be imposed in several areas in Colombo from tomorrow 9.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. Wednesday due to the laying of new pipelines under the Colombo City Development Project, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.
The affected areas would be Liberty Roundabout Junction to Bauddhaloka Mawatha Junction on Duplication Road and all connected byroads.
The Water Board had requested the general public to fill up on their water requirements in advance.
