Sri lanka President declares open colombo - Katunayake Expressway

The Colombo-Katunayake expressway is Sri Lanka's second E Class highway.
The Colombo-Katunayake expressway spans 25.1 kilometres, including 4 motor lanes, with motorists now being able to travel between Colombo and Katunayake in about 20 minutes.
Construction work on the expressway commenced in 2009.
