Sri Lanka reopens the refurbished BMICH

Sri Lanka on Thursday re-opened the refurbished it’s main exhibition and convention hall BMICH (Bandaranaike memorial International Conference Hall), .
Sri lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa declared open the refurbished Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) at a function held at the BMICH premises yesterday evening (24th October).
BMICH or the Bandaranaike Memorial International Convention Hall has been refurbished with an investment of Rs. 2 billion.
The center was built in the early 1970’s and was a gift from the Chinese government.
