Proposal approved to rename Sigiriya by-road ‘Sirasa Mawatha’

A special event is scheduled to be held in Sigiriya to mark the sixteenth anniversary of Sirasa TV.
During the Dambulla Pradeshiya Sabha meeting, it was proposed that a by-road in Sigiriya be renamed “Sirasa Mawatha.”
The proposal was approved by the members of the Pradeshiya Sabha.
This by-road will be renamed “Sirasa Mawatha” on June 10 in line with the Sirasa TV anniversary.
Several Shramadana activities, as well as other community service projects have been organized in the area in line with the anniversary.
Renovation activities on the road commenced Friday with the participation of senior executives of Sirasa TV.
