The nude images of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton that were last week leaked online after a security breach will be put on display in a gallery as part of an art show.
The Cory Allen Contemporary Art gallery will host an exhibition called No Delete, which consists of work made by XVALA, a Los Angeles artist preoccupied with the internet and celebrity.
XVALA will present the hacked nude photographs of Lawrence and Upton printed on canvas, life-size and unaltered as part of a seven-year collection of images that he has sourced on Google of “celebrities in their most vulnerable and private moments”, according to the gallery’s website.
Previously, XVALA has distributed leaked nude images of actress Scarlett Johansson in the streets of Los Angeles with the words “Fear Google” censoring her body, and put the image of singer Britney Spears with a shaved head in an elaborate frame.

XVALA is quoted saying: “We share our secrets with technology and when we do, our privacy becomes accessible to others.”

After the leak, Lawrence’s publicists issued a statement saying: “We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible”. Upton’s publicists echoed the statement.
Gallerist Cory Allen told Fox News that they considered the photos as art, and therefore exempt from any ruling obtained by the celebrities’ publicists: “We’re not posting them… and we don’t see them as photos. [The artist] sees it as art.
“I think if XVALA was really concerned and too worried about the legality side of it, it would challenge the integrity of the art.”
The show will open on 30 October.

A Russian music teacher who "accidentally" posted her naked selfie online has refused to resign after the school authorities asked her to do so.
Elena Kornyshonkova, 40, from Tver, in Russia, said she posted the revealing photo by accident on the Russian social network VKontake.
Students and colleagues found her nude selfie and reported this to the school management, media reports said.
In her reply, the teacher said there was nothing wrong with nudity and she led a more "honourable" life than many of her colleagues.
According to her, she only intended her close friends to see the picture taken during a holiday in Spain.
But the school management directed her to resign by Aug 25 else threatened to sack her, reports added.

Aamir in legal trouble over nude poster

A case was filed in a court in Kanpur, on August 2, against Aamir Khan and the makers of the upcoming movie PK after its poster showed the Bollywood star in the nude except for a transistor covering his private parts.

In the complaint, lawyer Manoj Dixit accused the actor, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajkumar Hirani of promoting nudity and vulgarity.

The film is scheduled for release in December.

The court listed the case for Aug 7 when the contention of the petitioner would be heard and, if needed, the producer, director and actor will be served notice to appear before it.

The petitioner said Aamir Khan has considerable influence on the youth of today and any such act would only tempt youths to emulate him, thereby threatening the social order.

This in turn, he added, would lead to cases of sexual offences.

Many newspapers had printed posters of the forthcoming movie in which Aamir Khan is reportedly playing an alien.

Rihanna goes practically naked to CFDA Awards in her most risqué look yet

Posted by Unknown on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 | 0 comments | Leave a comment...

What do you wear to pick up one of the fashion industry’s most coveted style prizes? Well, if you’re in Rihanna and your fashion USP is audaciousness teamed with unapologetic brazenness, you wear nothing.

Well, nothing bar a shimmering sheer floor-length dress that reveals everything, nipples et al, in a move that would make Instagram censors dive for cover.
Her modesty was just about hidden by a nude coloured thong, which she covered with a fur stole.
Part Josephine Baker, part sphinx, she teamed her Adam Selman-designed dress with a sparkling turban. While conservative fashion critics may bemoan her wardrobe choice and tell her to cover up, this might be the most ‘Rihanna’ ensemble she’s ever worn – it’s admirably confident, fearlessly individual and unashamedly provocative.

Not even Solange Knowles – who also attended the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards last night –  would have picked a fight with her, so intimidating was Rihanna’s near-naked presence.
In a sea of innocuously-dressed models and actresses, Rihanna was a refreshingly, defiant antidote.

The “We Found Love” singer collected the Fashion Icon Award from Anna Wintour last night, an honour previously given to Kate Moss, Lady Gaga, Johnny Depp and Nicole Kidman. Other names to be celebrated include the Olsen twins, who received Best Accessories Designer of the Year for their label The Row.

Instagram can rest easy over fears it may receive a post or two by Rihanna from the evening: she has deleted herself from the social media channel after it censored one of more risqué images recently.
Last week, Rihanna tweeted her support for Scout Willis – the 22-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis – who staged a topless protest in New York in reaction having been banned from Instagram for posting a photograph of a sweatshirt she designed featuring two topless women.
In May, US Vogue creative director and former model Grace Coddington was also recently temporarily removed from the channelfor sharing a topless line drawing.
However, the company’s CEO, Kevin Systrom, maintains that its strict no-nudity policy is “fair”.
“Our goal is really to make sure that Instagram, whether you're a celebrity or not, is a safe place and that the content that gets posted is something that's appropriate for teens and also for adults,“ he told the BBC.

Lady Gaga gets completely naked on stage

Posted by Unknown on Saturday, November 2, 2013 | 0 comments | Leave a comment...

Talk about a full frontal facepalm. Lady Gaga fancies herself a performance artist, so it's not too surprising to hear news of the pop star doing something crazy in the name of art. But performing completely naked on stage? That's a new one… even for Gaga.
Mother Monster performed a surprise set at London nightclub G-A-Y this past weekend. Singing her new song "Venus," Gaga started the show dressed up as a ghost… but soon after stripped down to just her birthday suit.
Comedian Matt Lucas tweeted after the show: "Just saw Lady Gaga do a surprise set at G-A-Y... All agreed it was impressive but we're staying gay." Fair enough.
Gaga's performance was definitely racy, but is it the most R-rated on-stage performance of all time?
We all remember Miley's risque performance at the MTV VMAs, when the twerking pop star rubbed a foam finger all over herself.
Then, there was the time Justin Timberlake ripped off Janet Jackson's top on stage, exposing Ms. Jackson to millions of viewers during the Super Bowl Halftime show back in 2004.
And let's not forget the moment when Madonna and Britney Spears shared an open-mouth kiss at the end of their MTV VMA performance in 2003. Tame for now, but pretty risque for 10 years ago...
From Gaga to Miley to Madonna, who's had the most R-rated musical performance of all time?
