Five nabbed for threatening 'Nolimit' outlests

Five persons were arrested by the Police on Saturday for allegedly threatening the Nolimit outlets in Wellawatte and Dehiwela to close down their shops.

Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said that Police were conducting operations to arrest two others who are said to be involved in the incident.

Meanhwile, the Spokesman said that almost all the CCTV Cameras which were fixed at the Nolimit store which was burnt on Saturday had been severally damaged, but remaining parts of the cameras including hard discs had been sent to Morotuwa campus to find out whether it is possible to retrieve the recordings

Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana told a media briefing today that there had been 24 CCTV cameras in the store.

SSP Rohana said statements had been recorded from the four employees who were inside the complex at the time the fire broke out.
